This year’s Spring Festival (Chinese New Year) began on February 16. Ms. Zhang Hua, Chinese instructor, held boiled gyoza cooking class during Spring Festival. (No.17-28)

This is the last report on “Foreign Students Are Our Teachers!” which AIRA has supported for over twenty years. In the 2017 school year the special classes were held at13 elementary schools and 1 junior high school in Abiko City. The last class was held at Fusa Minami Elementary School on February 9th. The following is the summary of the special class. (No. 17-27)

AIRA took guest teachers to Namiki Elementary School for a program “International Exchange Class.” (No. 17- 26)

The class “Foreign Students are Our Teachers!” was held for the sixth-grade students at Kohokudai Nishi Elementary School for learning and understanding other cultures. An AIRA member volunteered for pick- up the foreign students at the station.  (No.17-25)

AIRA members promoted AIRA Festival in “Abist de Night”, an Internet TV program, which is broadcast from “Abistream”, the local information center in front of Abiko Station. 　(No. 17-17)
