Following the assembly’s rule, after AIRA in 2016, KIRA presided over the first meeting at Palette Kashiwa newly opened in May 2016. (No.17-3)
Date/time: Friday, May 19. 2017 12:45pm to 2:45pm
Venue: Day One Tower 3F, Palette Kashiwa
Attendees: Total 11 members/4 associations: Abiko city/AIRA, Kashiwa city/KIRA, Nagareyama city/NIFA, and Noda city/NIA
The meeting was held at the brand new building where KIRA had moved as they were assigned as a designated administration organization.
Accounts reports on fiscal 2016 and relevant auditor reports were announced. Secondly, an official request for leave from the assembly by KIFA/Kamagaya city was announced. They were absent from the last meeting, which has been a matter of concern among the other members. Thus, it was ascertained that from now on the four associations run the assembly.
Active view exchanges were conducted among the members on such as annual activity plan on operation of Japanese language course, general expenses management, coordination with local municipals, efforts for recruiting new and younger members, etc. NIA reported about their English conversation trial with Australian primary school children using Skype, etc.
