The year-end party aiming at promoting friendship among AIRA members took place. The participants enjoyed the party while recalling their activities this year. (No.17-21)

The Public Relations Dept. of AIRA organized the year-end party and provided special entertainments this year, such as “performances by participants” and “fancy dress contest”.
Mr. Kuroda of the Public Relations Dept. acted as MC. The party was kicked off with “Kanpai” call by Mr. Murakoshi, the Vice President.
With the comfortable back-ground music of Teganuma Sunset, a girls’ vocal group, who performed on the stage at the last Abiko International Festival, the participants pleasantly exchanged talks here and there.
For the entertainment of “performances by participants”, following people showed their hidden abilities.
1. Ms.Taguchi played the recorder together with friends from high school, Ms.Oyama (Piano), Ms. Kumamoto (Recorder).
2. Misses Wang Ting and Zhao Xu, exchange students from China in Chuo Gakuin University sang a song “Kazeninaru” in Japanese and Chinese.
3. Mr. Beppu sang “Ai wo Arigato”
4. Ms. Ichiba sang “Can’t help falling in love” in English
5. Ms. Ke Meiling played “Ue wo Muitearuko” on an electronic organ and all the participants chorused with her play.
The fancy dress contest was the next. Ms. Niina Kaizu got the first award in her Senegal costume and other 10 attendees were awarded prizes by Mr. Hayasaka, the manager of the International Exchange Det.
The party was closed by Ms. Kitajima’s ending speech in a cheerful atmosphere.
