We held a meeting of representatives (managers) of foreign language courses sponsored by AIRA (No. 23-19).
Date and time: Sunday, February 18, 2024, from 2 p.m. to 3:30 p.m.

Attendants: 21 people (17 managers and 4 AIRA secretariat members)
For starting AIRA foreign language courses for fiscal 2024, the secretariat exchanged opinions with course managers overseeing the courses for fiscal years 2023 and 2024.
Moderated by Training Department Chair Uehara, this began following a speech by Nakamura, Public Relations Department General Manager, on behalf of the AIRA representative.
During the session, a briefing was given on courses planned to be run for fiscal 2024 and on a renewal of course choice information, which was followed by Q&As.

(1) Title of manager: In the courses, each manager is called differently such as informant, helper or class leader.
(2) Chairs in the Civic Plaza Japanese room: They were requested to be increased due to aging and greater use of chair in life.
(3) Chiba prefecture facility reservation system: It was requested that input items at application be reduced or identical items be omitted.
(4) Procedures for newsletter releases to be reduced: Requests will be informed to relevant units by using email and posting them on the official AIRA website, and we will consider them in the future.
