2015 First Meeting of Board of Directors

 The first board meeting was called to order to deliberate the following subjects concluded in the executive meeting on April 18.

 The 28 directors were appointed last year and currently in their second year. The AIRA’s rules and regulation stipulates the maximum number of the directors as 30 with 2 year term. Four members are scheduled to be replaced by new members on condition of approval in the coming general assembly.

 The following 5 subjects were submitted for deliberations by board members.

  1. Business report of the fiscal 2014 会場風景/span>

  2. Statement of accounts settlement of the fiscal 2014

  3. Change of directors, auditor, executives and advisors

  4. Business plan of the fiscal 2015

  5. Budget plan of the fiscal 2015

  It was also reported that the inspection for the account settlement in fiscal 2014 was duly conducted on April 17.

  This year’s business plan is composed of numbers of projects targeting to enhance internationalization and mutual exchange through usual activities among citizens. After reports and explanations by executive members, all agenda were unanimously approved and agreed to be submitted to the coming 2015 general assembly on April 30 for final approval.

  After the session, every attendee made a brief self-introduction and comment on respective business or participation with AIRA’s activities. The 2 hour long meeting was duly concluded.

  After the meeting, Mr. Noboru Noguchi, Director General, National Federation of UNESCO Association in Japan officially handed to the AIRA president a letter of thanks for the donation given to its world Terakoya Movement.    (No. 15-2)
