All coordinators of AIRA foreign languages classes met at the meeting room No. 1 at Abiko Civic Plaza to exchange views with AIRA secretariat. The talk covers not only the matters to be reflected for the current year but also the management policy for the coming fiscal year.(No.18-18)
The proceeds from the sales of “Aho-dori Manju” (red & white buns with bean-jam filling branded with an albatross) at the 27th Abiko International Festival held on Nov 25th were donated to Yamashina Institute for Ornithology together with the donations from AIRA members. (No.18-17)
“Supporters Training Course for Foreigners against Disasters”of the Chiba sponsorship was held in Abiko city which is to train volunteers to support foreigners when any disaster occurred. AIRA extended cooperation to this course by sending some foreigners, etc. (No.18-16)
The 27th Abiko International Festival was held on Nov. 25th to enhance understanding between Abiko citizens and foreigners living in this city with a main theme of “Soaring High Together”. (No.18-15)
A bus tour for foreigners was implemented, which was designed to guide them to sightseeing spots to our neighboring places. (No.18-14)
