The AIRA Tuesday Japanese Class had a special class before summer holiday. Usually the students study in small groups according to their Japanese levels, but on this day all the students learned Japanese through playing games together. (No. 17-8)
A lecture for volunteer teachers was held under the theme of “How to teach Japanese language to non-Japanese”, organized by the Japanese Class of AIRA Volunteer Section. (No. 17-9)
After they came to Japan on June 1, 2017, the NAU (Northern Arizona University) students experienced various Japanese cultures in Abiko, traveled to Kansai Area and came back to Abiko, where they stayed with host families for two nights. (No. 17-7)
AIRA presented its activities at a briefing session in Chiba University held as a part of the curriculum called “Experience on Local NPO’s Activities” appealing to students to participate in the AIRA events as a volunteer. (No.17-6)
