The first meeting of Liaison Council of Tokatsu District International Exchange Associations was held in Noda City、the Association of which is the leader for 2023. (No.23-4)

The Liaison Council is held every year for which each Association is working as a leader on a rotation basis. From each group. President, Vice President, Secretary General, etc. attend. From AIRA, President Kitajima, VP Omura, VP Hesaki, VP Murakoshi and Nakamura, Director of Public Relations participated this time.
The agendas were as follows;
1. Action Reports of FY2022 and Action Plans of FY2023
2. Current conditions under the Corona crisis.
3. Issues faced by each association
4. Changes of the number of foreigners (during the latest 3 years)
Some of the activities of each association planned for FY2022 were forced to be cancelled or replaced by online due to COVID-19 particularly in the first half of 2022, but as of the second half, it came back to normal gradually. Many of the issues faced by each association are related to human resources, acting bodies and income to operate which are difficult to solve quickly. However, now it is required to support each other by exchanging ideas and sharing knowledge in order to pursue international exchange rooted in the region. The ratios of foreigners are increasing in every city. Country- wise, the majority is occupied by Chinese while Vietnamese are also increasing recent years. <refer to the attached data>
