The cross-cultural understanding lecture is designed to introduce the culture and customs of a foreign speaker to Japanese people. This year’s topic was in what way people learn languages in the U.K. The speaker, Mr. Daniel Edwin Lee, talked about how people in the U.K., a multi-cultural country, learn other languages. Abiko International Festival was held with the main theme “Soaring High Together”.This year the festival was recognized to participate in “Tokyo 2020 Support Program”,which aims to promote the 2020 Tokyo Olympic and Paralympic Games. (No.19-19)
The 32nd “SOZOKAI Festival” of Heiwadai Hospital was held from 10:00 to 15:30 on November 17th (Sun). The hospital offered some profit earned in the festival to AIRA. (No. 19-18)
