The lecture series on teaching Japanese to foreigners has started. This series is held every two years and will be held on Zoom following FY2020 due to the new Coronavirus infection. (No.22-19)

The International Speech Contest co-sponsored by AIRA and Abiko City was held for the first time in three years.(N. 22-8)

AIRA held a lecture on Japanese language teaching so that the volunteer teachers’ skills may be upgraded. (No.22-7)

AIRA adds one more foreign language class called “Russian Salon”, apart from the present six language classes, namely English, French, Chinese, Korean, and Spanish. （No.22-6)

Saturday Japanese Class held a special event “Otanoshimikai”.
On-line lessons were given for two years due to the pandemic, and this year on-line and face-to-face lessons have been given every other week.
