Culture Course for Foreigners -"Won’t you try to wear a yukata?"
Under the title, "Enjoy Summer Festival and Bon Dance in Yukata!", a challenge for wearing yukata class was held in the AIRA culture course for foreigners. July 19, 2016, at Abiko Citizen’z Plaza.There were entries from people of foreign origin such as China, South Korea, Philippines, Malaysia and Nepali. Many yukatas were provided by Mrs. Taguchi and her accompanied teachers.

AIRA dispatched Spanish speaking interpreters when Cuban National Judo team visited Abiko, where Judo is deeply related, while they were camping at Ryutsu Keizai University in Ibaraki prefecture immediately before the Rio de Janeiro Olympic Games.

The 2016 Japan-Thailand Kids Rugby Meeting was held for three days from March 25 to 27 at the NEC’s rugby ground and others, sponsored by The Kids Sports Exchange Association, an organization powerfully promoting international exchange through sports.
